After serving his country as an Air Force veteran, Roger Berry returned to East Texas with a vision: to build something lasting for his family and future generations. What started as a piece of land in Henderson County has grown into a working ranch rooted in purpose. With over 70 acres, natural water sources including Cow Creek itself, and a commitment to stewardship, Cow Creek Ridge was built to do things the right way—not the easy way. From the beginning, the focus has been on raising quality registered Angus cattle with integrity. Every decision—from genetics to daily care—is made with long-term strength in mind. This isn’t a volume operation; it’s a hands-on, relationship-driven ranch where cattle are known, not just counted. Family is at the center of everything here. Cow Creek Ridge represents more than cattle—it represents a way of life, teaching valuable lessons to future generations.
